The Spirit Award recognizes a group of individuals, from one or more organizations, whose enthusiasm and support for Opens Doors brought new people and organizations to the Foundation’s roster of supporters, and whose efforts amplified the impact the Foundation has on vulnerable families in America.

National MI was recognized as a best workplace in America in Fortune’s ranking of the “30 Best Small and Medium Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance.” This honor is based on anonymous survey feedback from nearly 780,000 people working in financial services and insurance in the United States and applies to companies with between 10 and 999 employees. Eighty-five percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences of trust and reaching their full human potential as part of their organization. The remaining fifteen percent is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders.
